A quarter-life crisis is a period of uncertainty, stress and deep soul-searching that we experience in our mid-twenties to early thirties as we figure out who we are and what we want.  It’s a period of awakening and enlightenment, of questioning and assimilation, and while it feels amazing to finally be understanding what life really is, it can also feel very overwhelming to realize we barely have enough time to start living with purpose and doing everything we want. 

 

That is what my best friends and I have been going through for the past few years so we decided to take a road trip to California to disconnect from society and this colonial programming we are living in that was shutting down our internal wisdom, and we let Mother Nature take care of us and our minds for a few days. 

 

We needed to disconnect to connect. 

 

Connect with each other, with nature, but most importantly to connect with ourselves. With our minds, with our souls, with our inner child, with the trees, the animals, the water, the wind, the sunlight. 

 

Nature takes care of us. 

 

We come back to our respective lives stronger, wiser y listas para comernos el mundo. 

 

I grew up with these girls and I’m so proud of their hearts❤️ gracias for being you and creating a safe space for me to be myself.
